Commercial transparency

How Crown Energycare may be paid.

The payment method can vary by service and arrangement. We will explain the applicable route before you commit.

Possible arrangements

Payment may come from a provider or directly from you.

For some introductions or agreements, a supplier or provider may pay Crown Energycare a commission. Depending on the product, that commission may be included within the commercial pricing or otherwise funded by the provider.

In other circumstances, we may agree a direct fee with the customer, or use another clearly documented arrangement. The actual method depends on the service and proposal.

Provider commission

A supplier or provider may pay us for an introduction or completed agreement.

Direct fee

A fee may be agreed with you for a defined service or piece of work.

Disclosure

We explain the nature or method of payment relevant to the proposal before commitment.

Ask before agreeing

You can request more information about the arrangement.

If a commercial point is unclear, ask us before signing any supplier or provider documentation.

  • Who supplies the underlying service?
  • What charges and contract term apply?
  • How is Crown Energycare being paid?
  • Can the nature or method of commission be explained?
  • What renewal and exit provisions should be noted?
No savings promise

Pricing and outcomes depend on the requirement, timing, market and provider terms. We do not guarantee that an option will be cheaper than an existing or alternative arrangement.
